Charcoal is ready in ten minutes with the Charcoal Companion Electric Charcoal Starter.

Spread a layer of charcoal briquettes on the charcoal grate of your grill. Place the electric starter on the top of the briquettes and place more briquettes on top of the starter.

Once briquettes have ignited, unplug and remove the starter. Place on a heat-safe surface to cool, away from children and pets.

Do not leave the starter in the briquettes for more than 8 minutes or the starter may be damaged by the heat. To ensure protection against shock, the starter should be used only in properly grounded outlets. A three prong extension cord may be used, provided the surface of the cord is marked with the suffix letters, suitable for use with outdoor appliances.

Electric starter gets hot. Keep away from bare skin and combustible. Keep the electric starter and extension cord away from flames and water and out of reach of children.
